As outlined above, switching can be done directly from FORWARD to REVERSE without the intermediate braking operation. At this moment, it is safe to reverse the driver, provided that the motor current is less than the maximum rated output current of the driver. When users switch from FORWARD to REVERSE without brake operation, the initial movement includes brake current. The block diagram at the center of the slide shows this movement.
