To stop the REVERSE rotation, users switch from ON of F2 and F3 to turning ON F3 and F4. At this moment, brake current flows in the reverse direction of REVERSE as shown by the arrow and stops the motor’s rotation. As shown in the previous slide, this brake current doesn’t flow into ground. After the motor halts, the user may choose STOP mode as shown on the right, with no drive to any of the four MOSFETs.
