This example shows the motor current waveform when the current limit does not operate. Current flows in the direction of FORWARD when input 1 is high and input 2 is low. High current flows when the motor starts driving and then settles to a lower value while the motor runs. Braking current flows in the opposite direction of FORWARD when both inputs are low, causing a braking action in the motor.
