This slide shows the current flow while the current limit is active. The STK681-300, 310 and 320 control the bipolar transistor or MOSFET on the high side by the constant-current PWM control system. The operation is the same, no matter if the upper switches are bipolar transistors or MOSFETs. After the overcurrent condition, the control decays slowly.
