Among the products in the 50 V DMOS STAC® series, the STAC4933 is specifically designed for industrial applications with stringent robustness requirements. Safe operation of the STAC4933 is guaranteed by one of the industry’s highest breakdown voltages, which is greater than 200 V, a higher load mismatch capability, which is 65:1 in all phases, and by specifying the avalanche energy at 1.2 joules, which is the parameter controlling the self-biasing of the parasitic transistor.
