Here is a reference design example for a track light comparing an incumbent solution utilizing a 39 Watt Ceramic Metal Halide lamp with one using a CXA 2530.  The CXA2530 provides 58% more lumens and 50% more efficacy. The operating temperature of the light source is also over 100 degrees cooler, and the rated lifetime for the light source is 100,000 hours, 10 times longer than the incumbent light source. There is also the added advantage that the LED based solution turns on instantly and the restrike is instant after it is turned off. This is in comparison with the incumbent Ceramic Metal Halide Solution that takes 2 minutes to warm up to full output and takes up to 15 minutes for restrike.
