This slide provides a review of how VeriSafe is a better solution. The process shown at the top involves a handheld tester. The process at the bottom is the new process using VeriSafe. As can be seen, VeriSafe uses that same process of testing the tester before and after checking for voltage, but it also adds the step to verify the installation. While the handheld tester requires exposure to hazards and PPE, the VeriSafe absence of voltage test can be completed with a push of a button before the equipment is even opened with no exposure to electrical hazards. As a point of comparison, using handheld portable testers can take 20-30 minutes, whereas VeriSafe automates that process, ensuring the same steps are performed in the proper sequence every time in about ten seconds. In addition to the safety benefits, there is a huge potential for productivity savings as well.
