The ZVS bucks offer current up to 15A. Engineers can achieve even higher output current by paralleling these devices. There is simple parallel operation via a single wire current sharing scheme. So it is possible to take 2 buck regulators, run them in parallel and a designer will be assured of equal loading on each buck. The 2 regulators will also be 180° out of synch with each other, reducing the output ripple accordingly. Customers can parallel more than 2 devices and have them interleaved using the optional I²C functionality to program in the phase delay for each regulator.
