In summary, Circular Plastic Connectors (CPC) are versatile, rugged, and circular-shaped signal and power connectors which enable solutions for applications where both power and signal are required. They are available in a variety of sizes, with many different types of signal, low power, and high power contacts in multiple configurations. CPC housings are made of rugged, heat resistant, self-extinguishing thermoplastic, allowing them to withstand abuse as well as providing built-in pin and socket protection. The connectors are threaded with a coupling ring with a positive locking feature, and are designed to be easily repaired in the event of any damage to the housing or pins. CPCs are available in either standard sex, having pins in the receptacle and sockets in the plug, or reverse sex, having sockets in the receptacle and pins in the plug. CPC accessories include sealing and protective caps, jacketed cable seals, cable entry seals and heat shrink boots, rubber boots, and strain relief cable clamps. Panel mount flanges allow cable receptacles to be mounted to a panel.
