This table shows the product lineup of ROHM’s laser diodes that cover from 630 nm to 950 nm. Products that produce light above 740 nm are generally not visible to the human eye. Each wavelength grouping is targeted towards different end applications. For robotics, the range from 650 nm to 670 nm can be used as fine particle detection and the range from 780 nm to 800 nm is used for ranging and mapping functions, while above 800 nm is used for motion sensing and time of flight (ToF) applications.
