Shown here is a chart comparing the typical performance of the XP-G with the new XP-G2. The flux output for various color temperatures at 85º C is 14-19% brighter for the new XP-G2. The thermal resistance, available color temperatures, typical forward voltage at 85º C and 350 mA are the same for the new XP-G2. The viewing angle for the XP-G2 is 115º compared with 125º for the XP-G. The lens radius is also slightly larger for the XP-G2 - 1.53 mm compared with 1.275 mm for the XP-G.
