Tripp Lite APS inverter/chargers include several features that ensure better equipment availability than competitors’ models. A high-amp, 3-stage charger allows users to safely recharge connected batteries at a faster rate than competitors’ models. This feature is critical in areas with inadequate utility service. If a power failure occurs, all APS inverter/charger models ensure continuous availability by quickly switching to battery backup support. Select APS models switch as fast as one half cycle (10 ms) - much faster than typical competitors’ models - making them ideal for supporting even the most sensitive computer and telecom equipment. If users experience a prolonged power failure which depletes the backup power of their battery system, select APS inverter/charger models will automatically switch on a gas generator to ensure continuous availability.
