In the eDesign Suite generating a design is very simple. The first step is to link to www.st.com/edesignstudio and provide a login and password. Next choose the application type and then specify the high-level requirements (Vin, Vout, Iout). Select the desired IC and the design is ready. The I/O specifications may be completed in two different ways. The I/O approach involves filling I/O specifications, after which the tool automatically filters all the ICs matching these specifications and the user chooses the preferred IC. In the IC approach the user chooses the IC they want to use and then submit compatible I/O specifications. Once the Start design button is enabled, click on it and the tool generates a design.
