Application Example: Current Detection Circuit

Shown here is a usage example of an operational amplifier. Typical block diagrams of circuits to detect motor current are shown. The voltage generated by the shunt resistor or the signal output from the sensor element is detected to control the speed of the motor and protect it from damage. This is required in motor drive applications such as air conditioners, electric sliding doors, and powertrain systems.
