How to Select a UPS System Slide 19

In summary, load describes how much power (in watts) the device uses. The more devices, the higher the load. Capacity describes how much power (in watts) one or more Tripp Lite UPS systems can support during a blackout. The higher the capacity, the more devices they can support. The smaller the wattage load connected, the longer that the UPS system batteries will run. The larger the wattage load connected, the shorter the UPS system batteries will run. Voltage and frequency measures are dependent on the region. Standby UPSs provide basic protection from power problems, line-interactive UPSs provide a higher level of protection from power problems, and on-line UPSs provide the highest level of protection from power problems.
