The BD9SxxNUX-CE2 family of secondary switching regulators is offered in a small 2mm x 2mm package. They accept a nominal input of 5.5V (7V max.) and deliver output current of 0.6A to 1A depending on the part number. They incorporate synchronous rectification for high efficiency and also operate at 2.2MHz. Output voltage may be set anywhere from 0.8V to VIN (variable type) or the customer may select a fixed output voltage of 1.1V, 1.2V, or 1.8V. Current mode control allows users to easily set phase compensation.
