Welcome to the Amphenol Industrial "Solar Technologies UTX PV Cable Connector" product training module. This presentation will introduce the UTX connection system. It will cover the features and potential application markets for these connectors and highlight mechanical, environmental, safety, and electrical characteristics. The tutorial will review the part number information for the parts in the series and present typical applications. The UTX Series is an evolution of Amphenol’s well-known H4 connector, certified to UL 6703 1500V, EN 50521/IEC 62852 1500V (Class A), and JET 1500V specifications. It features RADSOK contact technology with a very low 0.25 mΩ contact resistance in both cold formed and stamped and formed contact versions. The line accepts four cable sizes: 14, 12, 10, and 8 AWG. UTX is constructed of RoHS/REACH compliant materials, is field installable, and is guaranteed to mate with the existing H4 line with an IP68 rating, when mated.
