The ACS37800 can be useful in any high-power-consuming application where the user wants to monitor the different power parameters in order to improve the energy efficiency. There are many Home automation as well as Industrial applications that require such power monitoring such as Smart Home connected devices, or IoT devices. Among them are smart receptacles, vacuum cleaners, home appliances like fridges, dryers or washing machines, and even hair dryers. The Zero Crossing Detection capability is also particularly useful for the dimming of lights, whether they are industrial, outdoors or in the home. Motor control applications also benefit from power monitoring accurately and frequently in order to detect when the motor is weakening, whether it is in drones, power tools or any other brushless AC Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor application. There are various other applications because the ACS37800 can get installed in Power Supply Units of power hungry devices such as Servers and Telecom power units, portable solar/energy systems, or in vehicles charging cables. The next two slides show examples that are particularly fitting to the features that the ACS37800 is providing.
