iMX8QXP-Slide5

The i.MX 8QXP MEK provides a variety of features and subsystems that differentiate the 8X from others in the market. In terms of core performance, the i.MX 8X family provides up to four Cortex-A35 cores running at up to 1.2GHz and a Cortex-M4 at up to 266MHz. The multimedia engine includes the integrated graphics, video and audio processing engines. These are the same subsystems as the higher end i.MX 8 family but tuned down in performance for scalability. The display processor with SafeAssure® allows for a safe path on the display stream so at no time will a display be blank and without crucial information being shown. The i.MX 8QXP MEK has a combo MIPI-DSI / LVDS PHY with SafeAssure backing which can be configured with either 2 LVDS or 2 MIPI-DSI interfaces. It also supports parallel display, parallel CSI and MIPI–CSI. In terms of memory, 16-bit/32-bit LPDDR4 at 1200MHz and DDR3L at 933MHz are supported. Regarding safety and reliability, the i.MX 8QXP MEK offers parity on the L1 cache, Error Correction Code (ECC) on the L2 cache and M4 Tightly Couple Memory (TCM). i.MX 8X also has advanced security and upgraded connectivity for various Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). i.MX 8QXP MEK is an excellent fit for applications using Linux, Android, and other Real-Time operating systems.
