At the heart of the i.MX 7ULP is the heterogeneous domain computing platform, consisting of the Cortex®-A7 and Cortex-M4. This part is available in two BGA packages, enabling low-cost 4-layer PCB designs or small industrial designs. The i.MX 7ULP is a feature-rich device offering on-chip acceleration for both 2D and 3D graphics, multiple memory options including support for Quad SPI and LPDDR2 and LPDDR3 memories, and a variety of other interfaces for connecting peripherals such as WLAN, Bluetooth®, GPS, displays, and camera sensors. The i.MX 7ULP offers important security features to meet today’s high standards of data and device protection on both domains, allowing for secure booting from either core.
