Trinamic TMC2590-BOB40 Breakout Board | DigiKey Daily
Trinamic introduces a breakout board for their TMC2590-TA high-power gate driver for stepper motors. This development board allows engineers to quickly prototype their applications and then, right away, check how the motor performs with the gate driver IC while developing the application's software. In addition to the driver IC, the breakout board also includes a 40-volt power stage, whose supply voltage range is from 5 to 36 volts; the onboard FETs have a 40-volt limitation. The gate driver IC can be configured using a SPI interface. The dimensions of the breakout board are 1.5 by 1.2 inches. For helping users to become more familiar with the breakout board’s design, Trinamic also offers the associated schematics, Bill of Materials, and a pin list.
