Renesas ISL8215M Step Down Module | DigiKey Daily
Renesas ISL8215M is a single-channel DC-to-DC step down power module that integrates the controller, MOSFETs, and power inductor inductor, and delivers up to 15 A and efficiency up to 96.5%. The module has a wide 7 V to 42 V input range and an output adjustable from 0.6 V to 12 V, making it well-suited for industrial, medical, telecom, and datacom point-of-load applications and eliminating intermediate step-down voltages. Light load efficiency is improved using a selectable pulse-skipping mode with diode emulation mode The ISL8215M requires very few external components and has an adjustable PWM frequency from 300 kHz to 2 MHz, with external sync up to 1 MHz.
