The introduction of these connectors means 3M now offers an extensive range to meet the needs of engineers building systems which require distributed power and signal cable connections. The heart of the system is the proven IDC technology from 3M which accepts discrete and flat ribbon cable of 18 and 20 AWG for higher current carrying capacity.
