RFI Capacitor Solutions
Film and Ceramic
The suppression of radio frequency interference (RFI) is a complex problem for the engineer. The solution must account for the mode being filtered (across the line or from line to ground), the capacitance required (from a few pico-farads to multiple micro-farads), the circuit voltage (from 125 VAC to 760VAC), and the method used to attached the capacitor to the circuit board (surface mount or leaded). Vishay’s portfolio of RFI capacitors is broad and capable to address all of these factors.
