Boréas Technologies’ BOS1921 single-chip piezo actuator driver features innovative CapDrive™ technology. Engineered to deliver waveforms up to 190 V_pk-pk to a piezo actuator, this driver operates seamlessly within a 3 V to 5.5 V supply voltage range, offering unparalleled versatility for diverse applications demanding minimal power consumption.

Equipped with advanced piezo sensing capabilities, the BOS1921 ensures precise haptic feedback activation upon meeting detection criteria. Its differential driver architecture guarantees low-distortion waveforms and whisper-quiet actuator performance, with all parameters conveniently adjustable via the intuitive digital front end, optimizing the bill of materials (BOM).

Effortlessly communicate data and configuration parameters through the BOS1921's two-wire MIPI I3C interface, seamlessly integrating into various systems. Featuring a flexible deep FIFO, this driver facilitates seamless waveform data streaming for playback or burst data transmission, enhancing bandwidth efficiency. Additionally, its integrated waveform synthesizer (WFS) and 2 kB RAM waveform memory enable the generation of high-definition haptic waveforms with minimal communication overhead.
